All About Eric
Eric Winter is a native Californian, born in La Mirada, California. He is an only child and remains very close to his parents, Wayne and Gwen. Eric grew up in La Puente--he went to Los Altos High School in the Hacienda Heights area where he played volleyball and football. He turned out to be a very good football player and participated in the All Star Hall of Fame football game.
After High school, he attended UCLA in Los Angeles where he got a degree in Psychology. While in college, he also took acting workshops and soon landed jobs with a few high profile modeling agencies. During this time, he also spent a lot of time traveling all over the world. One of his most important modeling assignments was with Tommy Hilfiger. He also appeared in a few national commercials such as 7-Up and Mitsubishi.
His desire for acting also landed him a few roles in television shows such as, The Parkers, Profiler, Charmed, and the Andy Dick show, and ultimately to Days Of Our Lives as Rex.
When hes not acting, Eric likes to play basketball, go hiking, snowboarding and just simply go to the movies. His favorite movie is The Breakfast Club. He celebrates his birthday on July 17th.
